The Department carries out efficient international cooperation through the network of Georgian police attaches deployed in foreign countries and police attaches/liaison officers of partner countries accredited in Georgia.

Georgia has deployed police attaches in 16 partner countries from where additionally 7 partner countries are also covered: Austria (also accredited in Hungary), Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium (who at the same time is a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in NATO), Germany, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Netherlands (who at the same time is a liaison officer in Europol), Poland (also accredited in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), Greece, France, Armenia, Ukraine, Sweden (also accredited in Denmark, Norway and Finland), Czech Republic.
