In order to ensure international reporting, within the competence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, department coordinates or prepares periodic reports and submits the relevant information on the fulfillment of the obligations undertaken by the international legal instruments.
In particular, periodic reports are prepared and relevant information is submitted on the following issues:
- Obligations undertaken within the United Nations (including the following specialized/supervisory bodies: UNODC, UNTOC, CTED, INCB, CAT, CERD, OPCW, ICCPR, ICESCR, CRC, CEDAW, UPR);
- Obligations undertaken within the Council of Europe (including the following specialized/supervisory bodies: CPT, ECRI, MONEYVAL, GRETA, FCNM, European Social Charter);
- Questionnaires of the Organization for the Security and Co-operation in Europe;
- Annual Reports of the United States Department of State on human rights, terrorism, drugs control and human trafficking.
