Strategic Communications Department

Strategic Communications Department is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs performing tasks assigned by the relevant regulations.

Duties and obligations of the Strategic Communications Department are the following:

Elaborating and planning of strategic communication policy of the Ministry system;
Planning and implementing specific communication campaigns on the planned and implemented reforms of the Ministry, as well as on raising public awareness;
Informing the public regarding the ongoing processes in the Ministry through information channels;
Establishing relations with state, non-governmental and other public organizations within the scope of competence;
Conducting research and analytical work and processing thematic materials for public opinion studies;
Informing the leadership of the Ministry regarding public opinion;
Organizing thematic meetings, press conferences and briefings with representatives of the public and media,
Managing the official website of the Ministry and other official pages in social networks;
Creation and updating of photo and video archives of the Ministry;
Carrying out other tasks envisaged by the legislation of Georgia, as well as by the Minister and relevant Deputy Minister (if any) based on the legislation of Georgia;
