One of the priorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to strengthen cooperation with the main strategic partners of Georgia - United States of America, EU member states and other European countries. It is also important to maintain successful bilateral cooperation with neighboring and eastern partnership countries.

In order to efficiently carry out bilateral cooperation with partner countries and determine future strategic directions, International Relations Department coordinates high-level international meetings and visits of the Minister and Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs.
