The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained G.K. (DoB 1955) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms.
Investigation established that G.K. sold automatic weapon and 60 bullets to a certain citizen for 1500 USD.
Durinrg the personal search of the detainee policemen seized cash received through arms selling, while having searched the citizen’s car law enforcers also seized the automatic weapon with bullets.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms, article 236, II, III and IV parts of the Criminal Code.
