Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili attended the opening of the 14th International Conference - "Georgia's European Way - Provision of Regional Stability" in Batumi.
The President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice-President of the European Commission, Marosh Shevchovich responsible for energy issues and vice-president of the European Investment Bank Vazil Hudak addressed the participants of the conference.
During the two-day conference will main topics of the European agenda, including the modern architecture of European security, new forms of cooperation between the EU and its associated partner countries and the importance of Georgia's role in providing regional stability will be discussed.
Representatives of executive government of Georgia, EU and Eastern Partnership countries, parliamentarians, representatives of civil society, academic circles, media and business sector participated in the conference.
