As a result of complex operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Investigation and Detectives Divisions of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested a Ukrainian citizen, V.A., born in 2000, on charges of illegal purchase and storage of a large amount of drugs and attempted illegal sale of a large amount of drugs.
The committed crimes envision up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
As a result of the personal search and search activities held in apartment in Tbilisi, law enforcement officers seized a large amount of drugs as evidence: "Methadone", "Mephedrone" and "Tetrahydrocannabinol".
As a result of the investigative actions, the police also seized materials and electric scales necessary for packaging narcotics.
From the locations indicated by the accused person, law enforcement officers also seized drugs placed by her for the purpose of further sale as evidence.
The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 19-260 (3) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
