As a result of immediate operative and investigative actions, officers of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested Z.F., born in 1985, on charges of the attempted premeditated murder committed against two or more persons under aggravating circumstances.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
The investigation established that on June 4 of the current year, the accused person, on the basis of conflict that took place in Tbilisi, wounded three people with a cold steel and fled the scene.
The emergency medical service transferred all three wounded individuals to the medical facility, one of whom, namely R.R., born in 1983, died few minutes after being admitted at the clinic due to injuries incompatible with life.
As a result of the investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested the accused persons few hours after the incident took place.
The weapon of crime - a knife - has been seized as evidence.
The investigation is in progress under Article 19-109, sub-paragraph “K" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
