The officers of the first division of the central criminal police department of Mia as a result of investigative and searching activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted Shavleg G. (Dob 1974) for illegal purchase, keeping and smuggling to Georgia especcially large amount of drugs. The mentioned person was detained by the law enforcers in Batumi.
During the personal search of seized the law enforcers seized two packages of drug. Drug test revealed that 17,6593 gr of drug contains 7,62 gr heroine. Investigation established that Shavleg M. trasnported drug to Georgia from Turkey. Also drug test revealed that Shavleg G. was under the influence of buprenophine and opium type drugs.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and illegal smuggling to Georgia, article 260, III part, “A” sub-paragraph and article 262 IV part, “A” sub paragraph.
