On March 23, 2018, in connection with the allegations made by former Director-General of the CIDA - Zviad Devdariani, the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under the Article 1511 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (molestation).
The investigation was launched on the basis of the information disseminated by the media which contains the signs of crime envisaged by the Criminal Code.
Mass media means do not identify the victims of possible crime. Along with other investigative actions, it is important to cooperate with the investigation in order to determine the factual circumstances of the case.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia calls on all individuals (both victims and other persons), having the information regarding the facts, to appear to the investigative organ for the interview (address - Tbilisi, Korneli Chaladze street N1, telephone number - 2 41 42 62, Email address - tbilisiadmin@mia.gov.ge).
