The officers of Didube-Chughureti police division along with Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities detained M.Z. (DoB 2001) for premeditated murder committed against two or more people.
Committed crime envisages from 16 to 20 or lifetime imprisonment.
Investigation established that due to the conflict, detainee murdered his own grandmother- Z.D. (DoB 1946) and mother T.Z. (DoB 1974) with an axe, while they were asleep in their own house. Law enforcers managed to detain the offender at the place of crime.
The weapon of murder was seized by policemen as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed against two or more family members under aggravating circumstances, article 111 and article 109, II part, sub-paragraph “F” envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
