Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has presented report on the involvement in solidarity fund. The meeting was attended by the head of the government administration Nino Kobakhidze, head of the Service Agency Dato Nikoleishvili and executive director of solidarity fund Mariam Jashi. Within the frames of the project Service Agency enabled citizens to make donation in favor of solidarity fund while receiving services at the agency. From the date of launching the project till now 28 240 citizens got involved in 6 months period. By means of the branches of “Liberty bank” located in the building of the agency 33 352 GEL have been transacted on the account of the fund.
Service Agency is the first government institution enabling citizens to get involved in the charity campaign. The initiative contributes to financing the treatment of children with oncological diseases.
