The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained several times convicted in past and currently on probation- D.A. (DoB 1982) for premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on February 13 of the current year, detainee inflicted lethal injuries with a blunt object to Z.D. (DoB 1963) residing in Gantiadi village, Dmanisi municipality and fled from the place of crime. The victim died due to the received traumas.
Law enforcers managed to detain the offender several hours later after the crime.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
