Giorgi Mgebrishvili handed out diplomas to MIA Academy master program graduates
Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili awarded graduates of master program in the field of police regulation with the diplomas of graduation and congratulated with the successful graduation of studies.
In 2014 MIA Police Academy accepted 39 students to undergo master program. All of the graduates will be employed at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
“As a Minister of Internal Affairs it is utterly important to have qualified, contemporary-minded, educated and motivated staff, as I realize that system development is impossible without the use of new ideas and opportunities.
Our master program is aimed to have staff with proper skills, education and knowledge for the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Today I am happy to announce that all of the graduates of the master program, will be employed at the Ministry of Internal Affairs in different units of the Ministry, including our most important pilot projects- analysis-based police activity and Joint Operations Center”-stated Giorgi Mgebrishvili.
Master program of MIA Academy is the only program which is free of charge in the country. During studies students are provided with meals, uniforms and proper accommodation if needed.
Rector of the Academy Givi Mikanadze wished success to the graduates and handed out memorable gifts.
