The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-investigative and searching activities detained Levan T.(Dob 1978), his wife Nata D. (Dob1980) in Tbilisi, as well as many times convicted Eldar G.(Dob 1970) in Kutaisi for illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs in especially large quantities by an organized group.
Investigation established that detainees systematically sold drugs and their activities were organized by Lasha D. (Dob 1979) who was in United States in that period.
During the personal search of Eldar G. law enforcers seized 12 pills and 12 pieces of subutex pill, which contains 0,1565 gr of buprenorphine. During the search of Eldar G’s house 484 pills and 15 pieces of subutex pill were found which contains 3, 92176 gr of buprenorphine. Police also seized 18 pills of subutex, pieces of drug and powder, while during the search of house of Levan T. and Nata D. part of cash 200 GEL -received through drug realization was also detected.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs in large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraphs A and B of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
