The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Archil Talakvadze held meeting with ambassador of Switzerland to Georgia Giunther Baechler. The Deputy Minister and Ambassador discussed initiatives of the Ministry and issues of bilateral cooperation. Sides also reviewed assistance of Swiss Agency for International Development and Cooperation, project of integrated border management and MIA tasks within the frames of Georgia’s integration in the Euro-Atlantic structures. Archil Talakvadze made special emphasis on initiatives which are linked with crime prevention, increasing accountability of Ministry and civil involvement. Parties also discussed Minister’s instructions regarding domestic violence and scheduled activities.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Ambassador of Greece to Georgia Eleptherios Proios reviewed issues of migration, future plans and projects of the Ministry. Parties also discussed bilateral cooperation regarding to the combat against crime.
