According to the decision of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Georgian government, disinfection works have been carried out at temporary detention isolators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as in structural units of Security Police and drug testing cabinets of Forensic-Criminalistics Department in order to prevent the spreading of the new coronavirus disease and to offer effective risk management.
Within the context of preventive measures, the complete internal and external perimeter of the temporary detention isolators has been cleaned, including special solutions treatment for cells, medical facilities, meeting rooms and office of the administration.
All structural units of Forensic-Criminalistics Department have also been treated with special disinfection solutions. Waiting rooms and rooms for doctor-narcologists have been cleaned, as well as the inventory, work rooms for examination on drug addiction, work space, waiting rooms and area of receptions.
Within the frames of preventive measures, the Citizens Service Center of the Security Police Department and the administrative building of the same structural unit were also treated with special solutions.
Disinfection works have already been carried out at Service Agency branches and work spaces of the Unified Service Center under the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In order to prevent the spreading of the new coronavirus disease and to offer effective risk management, disinfection will be carried out on the regular basis in all structural units of the Ministry of Internal affairs.
