The officers of Kaspi Regional Division of the Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained I.K (date of birth: 1988) on charges of violation of traffic safety or operation rules. The crime committed by the mentioned individual subjects to the term of imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
The investigation found that the accused - driving by his car in Kaspi on January 4, this year - hit the pedestrian M.G (date of birth: 2008); the minor girl died on the spot.
The forensic, trasological, auto-technical, toxicological and other types of expertizes were conducted on the fact. Investigation established the guilt of I.K. The police detained him on the basis of the court decision.
The investigation is underway on the fact of violation of the fact of violation of traffic safety rules or rules for operating transport that resulted in death – the article 276(5) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
