The employees of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the operative search measures and investigative actions, detained previously convicted N.B. (DoB 1993) on charges of attempted murder.
The committed crime envisions from10 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on June 6 of the current year, in the village of Mukhaestate, Kobuleti municipality, N.B wounded S.T. (DoB 1994) by a gunshot and fled from the scene. The injured man was taken to the hospital, where he was rendered appropriate medical care.
As a result of investigative actions, the police arrested N.B. as an accused person based on the judge's decision.
The law enforcement officers seized the weapon of crime - a hunting rifle as evidence.
The investigation into the fact of attempted murder is ongoing under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
