The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Zhou Qian. The deputy military attache, Shi Qiao of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia also attended the meeting.
The parties stressed on productive foreign-political and commercial-economic relations between Georgia and the People’s Republic of China. The participants of the meeting also noted the essence of strengthening cooperation in the field of law enforcement.
Vakhtang Gomelauri congratulated the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China on his appointment on the post and wished success in working activities.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs thanked Zhou Qian for the firm support of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
