Employee of the MIA Strategic Pipelines Protection Department Shalva Bebiashvili won the gold medal at the Open European Powerlifting Bench Press Deadlift Championship held in Lutsk, Ukraine. He competed in 125kg weight category of MPF (Military/Police/Fire) Division and became the champion of the Europe.
273 Athletes from 12 countries took part in the Championship. Georgian team comprised of 6 athletes won four gold medals.
