The German delegation of the Department against the fight with Organized Crime under German Federal Criminal Police, has visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs within the frames of the working visit.
Director of the Central Criminal Police Department, Davit Natriashvili held meeting with the head of Division against the fight with grave and organized crimes, illegal drugs, arms, explosives and violent crimes under German Federal Criminal Police Service as well as the heads of the team of investigators profiled in the fight with drug trafficking. At the meeting sides summed up results of the jointly investigated cases.
Within the frames of the visit members of the delegation also met employees of the Division for the fight against the drug trafficking under the Central Criminal Police Department. Georgian and German law enforcers have discussed new capacities of the investigation and prospects for future investigation.
In 2015-2016 Central Criminal Police Department of MIA in collaboration with the Department for the fight against grave and organized crimes under the German Federal Criminal Police, have conducted a number of joint investigations and successful activities to fight drug trafficking and drug-related trans-border crime connected to drugs.
