The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police department, as a result of the investigative activities held in the apartment of G.J. (DoB 1974) located on Uznadze Street, Kutaisi-law enforcers seized two plants of cannabis weighting 457,18gr.
According to the results of expertise G.J. was the consumer of drugs. During the searching activities law enforcers did not find any other illegal items in the apartment.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase keeping of drugs, article 260, I part of the Criminal Code.
Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to state that the agency has not made any official statement and would also like to address some of the political parties to abstain from misleading the society.
