The officers of Adjara police department along with Poti police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department and Special Forces under the same department, as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities detained G.A. (DoB 1990) in Poti and S.K. (DoB 1980) in Batumi.
Investigation established that on January 3, detainees assaulted accountant of “Ialchin Market” with firearms and appropriated 148 546 of the mentioned LTD, other sum owned by the accountant and oter items.
During the searching activities held in G.A’s house law enforcers seized 4 700 GEL and mask, while from the house of another detainee, policemen seized 7 750 GEL and golden earings. As a result of the investigative activities police aso seized 37 300 GEL.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery committed in group, article 179, II part, sub-paragraph B and part III, sub-paragraph C of the Criminal Code.
