The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division as a result of the immediate operative-investigative activities detained E.M. (DoB 1992) for armed robbery.
Investigation established that detainee followed the citizen of India G.M. in the office of “Giro Credit” where he changed 100 USD into Georgian GEL and was later robbed by the offender under the pressure of the knife. After having appropriated the cash, E.M. (DoB 1992) fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcers made quick response on the crime. Within the frames of the investigation law enforcers extracted video materials from the surveillance cameras of “Giro Credit” and adjacent territories, as a result of which the offender was identified and detained.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery article 179 of the Criminal Code.
