During police control acativities 129 facts of criminal violation and 1088 facts of the administrative offenece were revealed
With the aim to preserve public order and prevent crime, Ministry of Internal Affairs has implemented police control activities all across the country in accordance with the law on police.
On January 16-17 of 2017 during the police control activities law enforcers revealed 129 facts of the criminal fact, including:
63 cases of Illegal purchase, carrying and keeping of firearms and ammunition (article 236);
1 case of Major damage to health (article 117);
15 cases of stealing (article 1770;
1 case of the attempted stealing (article 19-177);
3 cases of the domestic violence (article 126 (1);
4 cases of violence, article 126;
19 cases of Illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs (article 260);
2 cases of Illicit Sowing, Growing or Cultivating of Plant Containing Narcotics (article 265);
2 cases of hooliganism (article 239);
During the police control activities 1088 cases of the administrative offence were registered, including:
24 cases of Minor hooliganism and disobedience (article 166 and article 173)
43cases of carrying a cold steel (article 181(1));
45 cases of illegal consumption of drugs (article 45);
During the police control activities the following illegal firearms and ammunition has been seized from illegal circulation: 5 automatic weapons, 9 pistols, 1 revolver, 7 rifles, 5 cut guns, 2 hunting rifles, 1 pistol, 18 hand grenade, 3 missiles, 1 anti-tank missile and 2858 bullets of various size.
Law enforcers also seized various drug substances.
During the police control activities police detained 22 persons for the crime envisaged by the Criminal Code and 42 persons under the Code of Administrative Offences.
