Mr. Chris Wigginton, the Director of the USA Georgia Public Safety Training Center, Mr. Tony Hightower, the Deputy Director of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and Mr. Michael Turner, Police adviser of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the Embassy of the USA visited the Academy of MIA.
The guests saw round the training and physical training rooms, simulated courtroom, simulated border check-point, real and virtual shooting ranges of the Academy equipped within the framework of the joint project of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the Embassy of the USA and the Academy of the MIA.
The representatives of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center were familiarized with the activities and educational programs of the Academy of the MIA. At the meeting with the leaders of the Academy the parties discussed the projects implemented within the frames of cooperation between two agencies and talked about the opportunities of future relations.
