The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division and Tbilisi police department, as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained B.N. (DoB 1981) for premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms.
Investigation established that detainee on October 2, 2016 inflicted multiple injuries with a firearm to S.J. (DoB 1979) and Z.Ch. (DoB 1982). The detainee fled from the place of crime. One of the victims died at the place of crime while another one died shortly after he was transferred to the hospital.
Law enforcers detained the criminal in Tbilisi as a result of immediate investigative activities. The weapon of crime is seized by MIA.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms, articles 108 and 236 of the criminal code.
