The Academy of the MIA was visited by the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia.
The guests were hosted by Mr. Shalva Khutsishvili, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Ms. Miranda Khabazi, the Acting Rector of the Academy of MIA.
At the meeting Mr. Shalva Khutsishvili discussed with the diplomatic corps implemented, ongoing and future projects of the Academy of the MIA. Especially for the guest was made a presentation regarding the mission of the Academy of the MIA, educational programs, and results of close cooperation with the international organizations and partner institutions as well as future plans.
After the presentation, the foreign diplomats had a tour around the infrastructure of the Academy of the MIA, viewed classes, gym, mock jury court and border crossing point, forensic mobile laboratory as well as imitated and real shooting ranges. Also, the guests attended the demonstration of border crossing procedures and simulated exercises on mass management in emergency situations.
