The officers of Central Criminal Police Department, as a result of searching and investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Giorgi D. (DoB 1987) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s house law enforcers seized one bulletproof vest, binocular, Makarov pistol with one magazine and 10 bullets, one Kalashnikov automatic weapon, two magazines and 58 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
