The officers of the Fifth Unit of Old Tbilisi Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the MIA, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Lasha A. (DoB: 1987) on the fact of theft.
The investigation established that the detainee who was involved in the campaign works of the party, "Paata Burchuladze – State for People" in Aghmashenebeli avenue, Tbilisi, unlawfully appropriated the laptop belonging to the Party and fled from the crime scene.
The law enforcers detained the accused on the second day, in Javakhishvili street, Tbilisi, and seized the stolen computer as an evidence. The detainee has pleaded guilty.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of theft (sub-clause “b” of the part II of the Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
