The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regional division of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the investigative-searching activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Lasha K. (DoB 1971) for drug related crime in Batumi.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 20,60612gr of heroin containing drug substance, 11 pills of methadone drug and 0,0004 gr of the psychotropic substance. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and psychotropic substance, article 260, VI part, sub-clause A and part II envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
