The officers of Tbilisi Police Department and Vake-Saburtalo police division as a result of the jointly held operative-searching activities detained Tengiz K. (DoB 1997) in Tbilisi.
Investigation established that on November 15 detainee, being under the influence of alcohol inflicted multiple injuries with a cold steel in chest area to Tengiz P. (DoB 1995) the incident took place on the crossing of Kandelaki and Budapeshti Streets after the incident detainee fled from the place of crime. The wounded victim died shortly after he was transferred to the hospital.
As a result of the immediate operative activities Tengiz K. was detained several hours later. The weapon of murder was seized by the law enforcers as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
