The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi police division of Tbilisi police department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained J.S. (DoB 1997) and T.Kh. (DoB 1996) in Batumi for armed robbery.
Investigation established that on December 26 detainees broke into “Bank of Georgia” express branch located in Gldani. Detained stole cash and under the pressure of the arms and fled from the place of crime.
Police managed to detain the mentioned persons in Batumi second day after the crime took place. Policemen seized part of the stolen cash 1475 EU, 640 GEL and 60 USD as evidence.
Detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery article 179, II part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
