The officers of the Main Division for Combat Illegal Circulation of Drugs of the Central Criminal Police Department and Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department as a result of the joint operative-searching activities detained Giorgi R (D.o.B.: 1978) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase-keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
The law enforcers seized 20 pills and the pieces of pills of drug from the detainee; the expertise showed that the mentioned items contained 7,96 buprenorphine. Drug test revealed the fact of consuming of buprenorphine.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities (sub clause “a” of the VI part of the article 260, the Criminal Code of Georgia).
