The officers of Division against Illegal Circulation of Drugs of Central Criminal Police Department of MIA as a result of operative-investigative and searching activities detained Otar D. (Dob 1981) for illegal purchase, keeping and import of drugs on the territory of Georgia.
It was established that detainee transported drugs from the Republic of Turkey to Georgia. During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 45 pills of drug which contains 0,358 gr. of buprenorphine.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illicit purchase and keeping of drugs and illegal import on the territory of Georgia, article 260, part III, sub-paragraph A and 262 article part IV, sub-paragraph A of Criminal Code of Georgia.
