On April 3, at 13:00 Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze will open the fifth sub-unit of Rescue-training Division of Emergency Situations Management Department. Construction works of the building started 6 months ago. The building is equipped with contemporary inventory and technic. In the mentioned building work and rest rooms as well as storage compartments are located. At the mentioned sub-unit eight professional alpinists are employed who received full mountain equipment, uniforms and transport. In order to conduct more effective operations in winter the sub-unit will also receive snowmobile.
