The officers of Dedophlistskaro division of Kakheti regional main police division of MIA as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained convicted in the past for the same crime Tamaz Kh. (DoB 1960) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearm.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s house law enforcers seized “F-1” type 2 hand grenades, 161 bullets and 2 cartridges of automatic weapon with 9 bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code which envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.
