The officers of Vake-Saburtalo police division as a result of special operative activities detained Russian citizen Maria M. at Tbilisi International Airport for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
Investigation established that Maria M. arrived to Georgian by Belarus-Tbilisi flight. During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 27,2471gr of drugs, which contains 13,6684 gr of methadone according to the results of expertise. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
