The officers of central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Zviad K. (DoB 1976) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and for smuggling drugs on the territory of Georgia.
Law enforcers managed to detain Zviad K. in Batumi, on Tbel Abuseridze Street. During the searching activities held in the detainee’s vehicle police seized 46 pills and 4 pieces of “subutex” drug. According to the results of expertise the seized drugs contain 0,3988 gr of Buprenorphine.
Investigation established that Zviad K. illegally purchased drugs on the territory of Turkey and illegally transported them to the Georgia territory.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A and article 262, IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
