Employee of the Strategic Pipelines Protection Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs Shalva Bebiashvili took the 1st place at Powerlifting Championship – “Batumi Open Cup”.
Shalva Bebiashvili competed in 125kg weight category of the two most popular styles of powerlifting: bench press and deadlift and won two gold medals. Athlete lifted 185 kg in bench press and 260 kg in deadlift.
30 athletes participated in the championship organized by International Power Sports Union.
