The Annual Donor Coordination Conference was organized by the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and the Team Leader of Human Rights, Justice and Home Affairs of the EU Delegation to Georgia - Agata Nieboj delivered the opening remarks. Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude towards the guests, donor organizations and partner countries for fruitful cooperation.
High-level officials of the Ministry, representatives of the European Union Delegation to Georgia, as well as representatives of the United States and other respective Embassies of partner countries and International Organizations attended the event.
The aim of the Conference was to introduce to the guests the results of the needs analysis conducted within the Ministry and provide information regarding the ongoing and planned reforms and projects initiated by the donor organizations, partner countries and the Ministry.
In addition, within the framework of the Conference, guests received information in the following areas: crisis management, human rights protection, prevention and fight against organized crime and border and migration management.
The conference was supported by the EU funded project - “Support to Public Administration Reform in Georgia”.
