On May 23, 2018 the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched investigation under the Article 374 of the Criminal Code of Georgia on the fact of disclosing the investigation data. The initiation of the investigation was based on publicizing the evidences of the case of 8 persons arrested for illegal possession of drugs. Specifically, one of the media outlets publicized the telephone conversation record between the manager and the security officer of the club "Gallerie", which represents an evidence annexed to a criminal case. Despite the fact that the parties involved in the criminal case had been warned about the non-disclosure of the data, the fact of disclosure took place. Investigative actions aimed at identification of the offenders are in progress.
