Within the frames of the project “Camp in Police” the Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted 30 pupils of the 9th grade from different public schools of Tbilisi and regions.
The visit was organized with the financial support of the International Organization PH International and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the US Department of State.
Pupils and 6 law enforcers cooperating with the schools within the frames of the training course “Legal Culture” visited Patrol Police Department, Special Task Department, Expert-Forensic Department and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
For two days, within the framework of the project, the guests were involved in various practical and theoretical activities.
The purpose of the visit was to identify the specificities of police work, get familiarized with the rights and duties of law enforcement officers, their daily activities and to promote the process of rapprochement of public with police, which is of great importance in the field of crime prevention.
