The officers of Didube-Chughureti Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, on the fact of stealing detained R.G. (DoB: 1998) previously convicted for robbery and damaging of others items. The crime committed by him envisages imprisonment from 4 to 7 years in length.
The investigation established that on June 24 of the current year the offender stole a motorcycle belonging to D.L., the guest of a night club. The motorcycle was stolen by him from the territory in the vicinity of the same club, after which the offender tried to escape from the scene.
The law enforcers detained him in a few minutes after the incident, while the stolen motorcycle was seized as a material evidence. As soon as the investigative actions are completed, the vehicle will be returned to its legal owner.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of theft (sub-clause “d”, part III of the Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
