The employees of the main division of the fight against organized crime under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, , the State Security Service and the General Prosecutor's Office, as a result of joint operational and investigative actions, B.K. (DoB 2001) was arrested on the fact of unauthorized entry into the computer system.
The committed crime envisions up to 6 years of imprisonment.
As a result of the complex investigative actions, it was determined that the accused person carried out a cyber attack on the computer system of JSC "Silknet" in order to obtain personal data.
The detainee, through unauthorized access to the computer system, appropriated the digital copy of the ID documents of up to 5,000 users of the mentioned company and tried to sell them through Internet illegally.
On the fact of unauthorized access to the computer system, the investigation is being conducted under Article 284, Part III of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
