The officers of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the fact of murder of B.O. in the village Ali, Khashuri Municipality, detained L.B. (DoB: 1984) in the "New Clinic" of Khashuri. Police officers are on duty at his ward and accomplish constant supervision.
According to the investigation, B.O. (DoB: 1973) along with two other individuals came to the house of N.A. (DoB: 1980) in the village Ali, Khashuri Municipality. Consequently the verbal insult took place between the visiting persons and the inhabitants of the house. The mentioned was transformed into a physical confrontation. The sides, using iron poles and cold arm, inflicted multiple injuries to each other. As a result of injuries inflicted by the spouse of N.A. – L.B (DoB: 1984) – B.O. died on the crime scene. The brother of L.B. was also injured by Sh.B. (DoB: 1982).
After the incident, a citizen of Israel, currently detained L.B. was transferred to the "new clinic" of Khashuri, where he undergoes medical treatment till now. Currently his life is not in danger.
The investigation was launched under the article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies intentional murder. The committed crime envisages imprisonment from 7 to 15 years in length.
