The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained G.A (DoB: 1982) on the fact of premeditated murder. The crime committed envisages imprisonment from 7 to 15 years in length.
The investigation established that the defendant on February 17, 2018 in the village Jimiti, Gurjaani region, on the territory of a cattle farm, as a result of a conflict wounded A.I. (DoB: 1982) in belly area with a hunting gun and fled from the crime scene. The wounded individual died shortly after he was transferred to the hospital.
Law enforcers detained G.A. in Kazlari in several hours after the crime took place. The weapon of a crime was seized by the Police as a material evidence.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
