The officers of Gori Regional Division of Shida Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained A.D. (DoB 1997) for robbery. The crime committed envisages imprisonment from 5 to 7 years in length.
The investigation established that on February 11 of the current year, the offender broke into one of the markets located in Stalin Street, Gori, appropriated money and a mobile phone and then fled from the place of crime.
As a result of immediate activities, the law enforcers managed to detain an offender in Tbilisi. As a result of his personal search the mobile phone and money were seized as material evidences
The detainee pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of robbery, the part I of the article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
