Mr. Giorgi Gakharia, the Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia held a meeting with Mr. Selami Altinok, the Head of the Turkish National Police.
The parties discussed the issues related to deepening of the existing tight law enforcement cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Turkey.
Mr. Giorgi Gakharia and Mr. Selami Altinok discussed the issues related to fight against illicit drug trafficking, human trafficking, terrorism, organized crime and other offences. Also, the sides talked about the existing challenges and strengthening of border cooperation.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Head of the Turkish National Police outlined future plans of bilateral cooperation.
